What's new
- On January 21, 2013, members of our institute nominated doc. RNDr. Vladimír Petkevič, CSc. as the director of the institute. Subsequently, he was appointed the director for the term between February 1, 2013 and January 30, 2016. His concept of the institute's future (in Czech) can be found in the section Documents.
What's not so new anymore
- In the year 2007, our graduate student Martin Svášek won the Prize of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce for his dissertation "Design, Creation and Utilization of French-Czech and Czech-French Parallel Corpus".
- On April 16, 2006, another prominent member of our institute, Saša Rosen, celebrated his 50th birthday. We again prepared a small collection of articles in his honour (in Czech). This file again is not meant for printing.
- On February 19, 2005, our web got a new layout. It was tested in Mozilla, Opera, Konqueror and Explorer, on a large as well as on a small screen, and therefore we don't expect any problems with its display. However, if you encounter any difficulties with displaying of the web, contact the webmaster.
- On July 20, 2004, our web server died. We transfered the content to a new machine on September 12, 2004. We apologize for this failure.
- At the end of summer term 2004, prof. Jaroslav Peregrin left for the Department of Logic
- The webmaster is on maternity leave since the end of April. Therefore we reduce the range of information given on this web server.
- On March 2, 2004, Niki Petkevič, the director of our institute, celebrated his 50th birthday. We prepared a small collection of articles in his honour (in Czech). This file is not meant for printing.
